Sonya's Emotions based on Pixar's Inside out, based on Highrollerhydra's own emotions.

Story (not by me)

Have you ever looked at somebody and wondered, "What are they thinking?" Have you ever asked yourself, "Why did I do that?" These are just some of the questions we ask every day. Normally, people act the same, but sometimes it feels like somebody else has taken them over for a moment. We all feel crazy for even thinking like this. But what if I told you it wasn't so crazy? What if I told you, that you too had forces controlling your actions? What if I told you, those little voices in your head are real?Well, regardless of your answer, I'm going to tell you. It's all true. We are all guided through life’s trials and tribulations by several characters I think we will call, “Your emotions.” Since birth, these "emotions" have all whispered to us. Telling us what to do. Guiding how to feel. Life is never easy. But lucky for us, they’re always there to take care of us. Because they are us. They don't control us. They are us. A reflection of the strongest parts of our personalities. And they guide us through life without ever hearing a word of thanks. They are the best of us.

Even their forms are often a reflection of ourselves. Often the forms they reflect us. Our dominant traits often fall on masculine and feminine lines. Most men have "male emotions." Most woman have "female emotions." Occasionally one or two opposing genders pop up in the emotional lineup, but those are rare.

That said, there are a few people who throw everything you just read into chaos. Let's examine one of these examples. Lets call him "Robert." You see unlike most peoples emotions, which resemble their hosts, these emotions in "Robert’s" head are all buxom women. Differing in skin tone, hairstyle and clothing. Not to mention the already referenced personality traits. But despite the unusual nature of this case, he's still a perfectly well functioning person. Proving it doesn't matter what they look like. The quality of our emotion are the real gauge of...Oh you're looking at them? You...You want me to talk about them? But I had a whole presentation about why your internet persona isn't allowed in the control room...Well we can see them...Why not.

Lets start with my favorite "emotion." Look at the one in yellow. That one there is Joy. She's one of those bouncy, bubbly types. She’s never afraid to face the day with a smile and a bounce in her step, as well as bust! Can't pretend you didn't notice that part of her. Or what's on our next girl.

Check out the lady in red. That's Anger. She makes it clear that "Robert" won’t take anything sitting down. She likes making sure things are fair. And if you get her agitated enough, she will blow her top and her hair literally bursts into flames! Great for roasting marshmallows.

Now I don't know about you but I love the purple one. That's Fear. She keeps a close watch for anything hazardous that could cause harm. Or even worse, kill "Robert." She tends to worry a bit too much, but the other "emotions" always assure her things will be fine. And most of the time she listens. She tries to keep the team on the straight and narrow. And most of the time she even keeps herself in check...Most of the time.

Now I wish the next one was as reserved as the other girls. The buxom one in green is Disgust. She's like fear in that she's always looking out for "Robert." But unlike fear, who watches out for danger, Disgust keeps an eye out for anything gross or embarrassing. She keeps "Robert" away from whatever could harm his self-esteem, or his keen sense of fashion.

And finally we have the lady in Blue. She's Sadness. And she's a...special case. At first all she did was make "Robert" get upset and cry. But after years of self loathing, shes discovered that with her tears, comes a warmth of comfort to make it all better. She may not look like it, but she’s definitely capable of pulling "Robert" back to reality when things get tough.

And there you have it. The 5 personality traits that make up all of us. Though their forms may change from person to person, they all serve the same purpose. To get their person, their "Robert," through life. Thank you for reading. Now try not to think about your own "emotions" too much. It's more fun if you just enjoy things the way they are. And honestly not everyone is lucky enough to have "emotions" as good looking as "Robert's."
